And I tried to enlighten you as to your taking my post out of context. In addition, the reply you just made is nonresponsive to the point I made in the post that you only partially quoted. BTW if some of the methods you use are theoretical, how do you know that they have any real relevance to what you are trying to accomplish?
I think you just may be conflating science with technology, although they are integrated and do overlap.
similarly, my entire system sounds better plugged into a Furman PRF18 conditioner, filter. i'm also a magic cable believer (full disclosure) but one of the biggest boosts to my SQ was feeding my streamer (first moving from a PC source to streamer) then replacing my wall wart powered hard drive, that was feeding FLAC files to my streamer, with a USB powered one. In my case, I boosted to a La Cie (Seagate's premium brand) 5tb ruggedized HD. From what I can surmise, getting the extra dirty power signature out of my path, made a huge difference, yielding blacker background, lower noise floor and more detail at every level.Thank you for sharing your experience with cables. I too have found a difference usually for the better . A very discerning hifi enthusiast friend told of his experience with power strips and higher grade AC outlets. I poo pooed the concept until I tried it. I found that the power amp did sound better when plugged directly into the wall outlet. I have tried and still use some very nice power outlet strips. But I always plug the power amp directly into the wall outlet. I also replace the outlets for my hifi gear with hospital grade types.
I did try a high end ( expensive) set of Aluminum speaker cables and they sounded horrible in my system , lamp cord was much better.
21st century voodoo, no wonder they call modern cities "concrete jungle". I suppose some acid or weed can clean those dirty bits even better.similarly, my entire system sounds better plugged into a Furman PRF18 conditioner, filter. i'm also a magic cable believer (full disclosure) but one of the biggest boosts to my SQ was feeding my streamer (first moving from a PC source to streamer) then replacing my wall wart powered hard drive, that was feeding FLAC files to my streamer, with a USB powered one. It's the little tweaks the deliver the whole pic, between power mgmt, cables, source..
nothing wrong w a little bump and grind ;D21st century voodoo, no wonder they call modern cities "concrete jungle". I suppose some acid or weed can clean those dirty bits even better.
So are you saying your system sounded like garbage before the Revelation? I always get confused by how many revelations all these cables produce. You’d think after one or 2 the revelations wouldn’t be so amazing but then I keep reading about one after another.if you shop smart and keep your eyes peeled, you can find signifcant values/
ex, US Audio Mart- I bought some DH Labs Revelation XLR and 2x22' DH Labs Q10 from a guy downsizing his AV system, for 20% of retail, in as new condition. the Revelation, between my DAC and Preamp, was a revelation and I may have even liked them better, feeding from Preamp to Amp but now they're feeding from DAC.
the uptick from some Kimber PBJ or DIY Duelund 16ga tinned copper RCA was palpable, with or without the afore mentioned drugs.
different cables make systems sound different. better or worse, is in the ear of the beholder but to say the earth is flat is just counter intuitive if you've already, first hand, seen the earth from space.

What is a non-flat circle? The Earth from space looks like a disc when observed from the Sun's direction. Just today I watched a fun piece from PBS:The earth from space looks like a flat circle.
What did i take out of context? I did not intend to. I just used the “quote” function to quote what you posted.
The theoretical methods that I used, Molecular Orbital calculations and Molecular Mechanics, were typically used to aid in interpreting photoemission spectral data. If the experimental and theoretical are in agreement, then there is greater confidence that the structure or mechanism one is trying to understand is correct. I never used theoretical methods without the corresponding experimental results. This is commonly done in scientific investigations.
I can give you a simple example. I collect some photoemission spectra on an unknown conformation that Ag nanoparticles form on the surface of a polymer. The data suggests there are 2 possible molecular conformations, a pyramidal and a planar. So I use Molecular Mechanics to optimize the 2 conformations in 3 dimensional space and plug that data into a Molecular Orbital calculation program. The program will than output the chemical states that exist for the two conformations. I take those states and overlay them with the experimental spectra to see which provides the best fit. In this case it was the pyramidal conformation. So i have good confidence that the structure is pyramidal. I might then use several other analytical techniques such as, IR, Surface Enhanced Raman, Static SIMS, Atomic Force Microscopy, to confirm this.

From wikipedia: "In geometry, a disk (also spelled disc) is the region in a plane bounded by a circle."Discs are circular, no?

But do they smell like infant Christie's feet?
I think this thread departed from meaningful discussion some time ago.So a person shared their personal experience and your contribution to a meaningful discussion is to insult them? Not very productive.
