I really wonder if a crown amp was switched into place of another so called costly HiFi amp with no one knowing.If the operator would notice or be able to really tell the difference.

With the volume being the same and with the general public I would say 80% would not
My Soundcraftsmen does everything a little better, more detailed (in my system) than the Crown I am trying. Not sure what my point is
... maybe that doing apples to apples I notice a difference 
I get it its kinda like if you see/know its been done ,one would notice the difference.Just like cables if you know then 300 dolla cables with outperform 50 dolla cables.
Not really, I spent a professional career analyzing sounds in the 0-32khz spectrum. I apply the same principals when trying out new gear, recordings etc. My note book on the Crown is already 5 pages listening to the same test "tracks" I always use.

I agree some do,i think majority dont though. Thats just my opine though,no harm done.

And just for the record I build or buy good cables, but nothing expensive, as in less that $75 if I buy, I am more about the material and build quality

I've been very interested in listoning to this amp. I was not able to use any of my speaker cables with it so I've never listened to it in these two months that I've owned it. But im gonna dig up some bare wire and give it a try. I have high hopes.
