Dahlquist dqm 9

Can anyone help me locate a dahlquist dqm 9 tweeter. I have had no luck locating one, even called the company, and have yet to recieve a response. Thanks for the help.

Try locating by Manuf. + model no. It should be Seas or Vifa.

I see the drivers come up on ebay on a fairly regular basis..also do searches on magnat as the dqm were rebranded magnats I have a pair of dqm-7's. They won't win any beauty contest but soundwise everything I've thrown at them comes up short

I have a pair of the 9's in great shape with the exception of the tweeter. They sound great, just need the tweeter to complete the picture.

They come up often enough on eBay. Otherwise, they're basically unobtanium. By the late '80s Dahlquist couldn't even source them. The service department resorted to modifying the casting to accept a Vifa D26tg.
So, keep an eye on eBay. Also, make sure the proper fuse is installed after you've found a replacement.

Almost certain the high frequency driver was sourced from MB Quart.

They have that same gunmetal gray as the Magnat larger drivers in there...
