Are they worth that, maybe in close to perfect condition to someone who has been looking for a set. They are relatively rare, but that price is pretty high. They certainly are not a bargain.

While they will probably be the best sounding pair of speakers you will hear for a good long while I have to say I would have a hard time shelling out that much for a pair. Maybe half.

They are huge and hard to sell if you don't love them.

That being said I'd love a pair. Every pair of Dahlquist speakers I've ever heard I've loved.

Make him an offer and let him stew.

There was a pair 75 miles from me I never had the time to go pick up.

They sold for $175 maybe $150.

At $150 or $175, I'd buy a set in a heartbeat. There was a set for sale locally at ~$300 that sat for quite a while. I considered buying them at that price, but my speaker collection was a little too large at the time.

I've not heard a set of these, but I've read about them extensively and they are very well regarded.

They are very good speakers but don't have much of a following. $150 is probably the going rate.
