Hello

Does anybody have a copy of the dbx Soundfield 1 or 1A speaker manual. I picked up a set with controller, but no manual. Would be very appreciated if someone could send me a pdf of it.

Regards

Terry

mr strombecker, I have it all and if you post or send me your email I will get it to you, including the crazy rave reviews

too much to upload here

ed maidel's comments elsewhere are less negative than others of his I have read ... the drivers were actually quite good, whatever they looked like, mostly Pioneer with KSC or Peerless knockoff tweeters of earlier Audax designs, I believe ... Tonegen was involved both early and late, and early made the 1A woofers, which were awfully good (and butyl surrounds should not need resurrounding) and better than the first batch of Pioneer woofers we used

I concur in most of what he said about about the handsome redesign and pricing and light grill warpage and post slippage (easy to fix w masking tape)

sorry to be late getting to this; I am glad to be resource to anyone about dbx products 1980s; drmoran@aol.com

menozzi did not have CE experience, I am recalling, but made many poor decisions, as had kennedy before him and as did kelly afterward (even worse, imo)

tough times for audio and difficult to know how to succeed fully with a fertile engineering dept like that full of audio EEs and 2-3 actual pathclearing geniuses
