Niiice. I found one of those sets once in a huge buffet type thing that must have been 10 ft. long if it was an inch. Very high end piece of furniture. I think it had monoblocks and a huge tuner with all the stations listed like this one. Antique store wanted $300 for it. The furniture alone was worth that, but I was away from home with a motor pool Taurus so it wasn't happening.

I see a lot of telefunken consoles. I wander if it's that there were more of them, or if it was because they were simply better looking and of a more timeless design so that people kept them around instead of throwing them to the curb. I'm thinking it may be the latter. I have no need for a console, but wouldn't mind just having one of these simple danish-modern telefunkens sitting around classing up the joint.

I've always liked Danish teak and styling a lot. Nice and simple, yet elegant.. That is waht made this console really stand out to me. Wished my wife liked the Danish styling...
