Denon DP 1200

What i like about the flying saucers are their plinths. They're real wood, aren't they? Or at least flat veneers, as opposed to the 47, 51/52 and 59 plinths which are shiny veneers.
What kind of carts would be ideal for the arms of these denons?

I have a DP-1250, which is the 1200 without an arm. Mine has a Mayware Formula 4 unipivot on it. I love it. Only reason it isn't being used is that the TD-124 is the daily driver.

the plinth is big so I found a different (bigger) butcher block...

then changed to a Denon headshell, not sure what kind was on it...

thanks man, I'm running a DL 110, everything seems fine...its the ultimate "all around " cart...If I go with a low MC like a 103 I'd probably have to add some weight...

I have a DP-3000 that I refurbished. Currently in a temporary plinth with a DA-50 (Acos) arm until I have time and warm weather to build up a custom plinth. I love it.

Thanks hucklecat! Those DP-3000's are nice tables to be sure! I have been contemplating doing a possible custom table with one of the stand alone models, but I have enough projects on my plate as is.

I have a prototype template for routing out the plinth for a DP-3000 or DP-6000. It's not perfect -- I forgot to leave accommodation for a router template collar -- and I probably should make a V2, but it works.
