dial pointer/tuning string for Marantz 2230

Hi. I have a 2230 that I just finished re-capping and in the process I broke the dial pointer string. Any suggestions on where to get replacement? Any pointers on re-stringing? Seems a pain.

It is a PITA.
Check the Marantz database for SM for 2230. Has complete instruction.

If the old cord is still attached, super glue the proper sized bead thread (from a craft store) to the broken end, slip the spring in the tuning drum off the old cord and pull the new in with the old. Terminate the new ends and then put the spring back on.
