One important thing to consider when buying a scale is it's size. The tray needs to be LP thick if it's going to be used on the platter or it needs to be small enough to fit between the platter and TA rest (stacked to correct height with cards).
To get an accurate reading the tray needs to be at the same height of an LP. With most on the market, this won't be achievable.
I bought one from dealextreme.com
I bought this one from the same website

Works great, although I don't think the case was ever within 20 miles of a cow :nono:
Read the reviews. you may have the FEDs knocking on your door. I do not think most of the buyers are using them to set up their turntables.
"This is the perfect scale for weighing all your little bags out."
"this scale works well. it lags a little but whos in that much of a hurry when trying not to be skimped? its small and light so you can bring it when trying to call your man out."
How does this work on your turntable?
