Do you drink and spin records?

Big time!

I use one of my automatics when I start feelin it. When I get totally lit, I just switch to the tuner and listen to the radio.
 
I find it much more enjoyable in my old age to sip a little weed while spinning my records. The better the weed the more enjoyable my experiance.
 
Have always enjoyed a good beer or ale and some tunes. Moderation is the key and if that fails you coordination often helps.
 
I don't get completely drunk, but I do listen to records while eating food or drinking an alcoholic beverage. I find it relaxing to take things down a notch and assume a slower pace. I've never had an accident, and I keep things under control. If I'm having a party and I know things will get crazy, I'll stream something from my computer and leave the music on "auto pilot."

Yes.

But ... I've noticed that alcohol has a detrimental effect on my hearing. When I drink, my wonderful sounding systems seem to lose their charm just a bit and I end up cranking the volume to compensate.
 
No, but then, I don't drink either, and never have. It is a choice I made at rather a young age, after having seen both my brothers wreck their cars while under the influence. To be honest, I don't think I have missed anything. I watched my fraternity brothers at parties, and after they decided I was not a narc, they were fine with my sobriety.

You don’t have to drink like a frat boy to enjoy a good libation, or three.

Back then we drank to get drunk. Ow I drink because I enjoy various cocktails.
 
Picking out the vinyls and whiskey now. GF has Muzak duties and I have bartender duties.

She will be having a local Vokda with fizzy water and I will be having a, probably local, neat whiskey.
 
Sometimes I see two spindles, I have a 50% chance of hitting the right one. But sometimes I see two holes also. When the two holes line up with the two spindles all is good.

Yes...and no.

A drink? sure.

Drinks? No, never.

I can't drink much more than one anyways. I just don't enjoy it that much after the first. Having an alcoholic father when i was young is probably a large part of that. I hate feeling drunk. I just don't feel in control.

30 years of living under "12 hrs bottle to throttle" probably also turned me off a bit....
