They look similar to some JbL's but not quite.

All I see is diffraction from the plasti-wood over the baffle. Other than that... :scratch2:

Just a guess, but they almost look like some kind of extension cabinet for a console stereo, possibly Magnavox or the like. The cabinets look very similar to some consoles that I have seen..

My guess would be Barzilay cabinets. These could be outfitted with various components, including JBL.

Speakers

Radio Shack used to produce 15 inch speakers that looked like that.
They where supposed to keep wifey happy cause they looked like endtables.
1975 maybe.....

I think they may have been cut off of a console stereo and a top and base made from the rest of the cabinet. Pic is too small to get a close look.

They look Magnavox to me....but possibly Emerson??? late 60's
