Looking for a website (or whatever) that provides historical data on 60s/70s Dual turntables that would provide year released, operation, photos, specs, etc. NOT vinylengine.com.

1963C: You could also look there: http://www.hifi-archiv.info/dual.html Most useful for you would probably the catalogue ("Kataloge") page. Brochures (= Prospekte) for particular models are sorted into the "Plattenspieler & Wechsler CS" page, though.

Dual Turntables Super-Restorer
The point is moot, but there once was yet another database for Dual that revealed turntables and turntable variants that I have not seen since.
There was a 10" 1219, a linear-tracker, and a 1229 wired for CD-4 with a unique anti-skate dial also shown on one 701.
The 1229Q does not seem to appear on any of these sites. Well actually, the one from Texas does have it, but makes a poor job of delineating it from the 1229.
