East Coast Nakamichi repair?

I need to know if anyone knows of a specialized nakamichi repairman in the South Carolina-to-Virginia area, who can service as well as repair and calibrate both a DR-2 and an RX-505 cassette deck.

The absolute best Nak shop is ESL in CT. They can actually take your machine and make it better than new. With large applications of cash, of course! They have every non-cosmetic part available. Yup!

I'm aware of Willy. I'm also aware of his $95/hr rate, which makes me choke.
I bought this 505, and it was damaged by FedEx in shipping, so I need to get this repaired within the confines of the insurance claim, or close to it. I don't want to spend $400+ to repair this deck, which I was quoted by Willy.

I'll give ESL a call. I'd seen them on google as well. Thanks.

Don't expect ESL to be cheaper. I heard many great things about them, but cheap aint one of them.

Don't forget AK member Nakdoc, in the TN area... or possible perryinva.

No question on ESL being expensive, but their reputation for quality work precedes them. I'm a west coast guy, if I had a Nak I wasn't going to service myself, it would absolutely go to Willy with Stephen Sank as a second choice.
