Electro now playing thread?

Well I've finally given up looking for one of my more sought after discs, I bit the bullet and ordered the Big Bud - Producer 07 CD + DVD. Paid about "way too much" for it, but it will essentially complete my "Good Looking Records" collection and that makes me very happy, or at least it will when it arrives!

Inspired by this purchase, I'm currently listening to Big Bud - Infinity + Infinity which will then rollllll into his Late Night Blues.

I love me some Big Bud :music:

Now playing: Big Bud - Producer 07 listening to the CD now, and will throw the (5.1) DVD into the theatre system later on.

The "Prodigy" thread got me thinking about the good ol' days, and in particular 1992. I'm currently listening to a couple old, and several new remixes of JayDee's Plastic Dreams, which is still quite an amazing track. The new remixes are pretty nice too. Might only be available online...?

Mixing the old with the new now...just got this in the mail today:
The Prodigy - Warrior's Dance Festival (Live) CD + DVD [2011].

I'm 1/4 way through the CD and it sounds like it was a great party that night! This is techno at it's finest IMO. I'll be watching the DVD once this is done...Can't wait!! :)

What an awesome show/disc this is! If you are a Prodigy fan, I definitely recommend it!!

Currently listening to Astral Projection - Trust in Trance which has my favorite track of all time - Enlightened Evolution (only not the version on the cd :()

This one could easily fit into several different "Now Playing" threads. Psychedelic, Progressive, Ambient, heck maybe even Rock 'n Roll, why not? ;) :music:

*recycling this photo from when I played it back in Feb...* :para:

Anyone familiar with BOOKA SHADE ? Very techno, very rhythmic stuff. It'll really give those woofs a workout too. Great great stuff.

"Now playing" Big Bud - Kool Beans. I ordered directly from Big Bud's own labels web-site and he/they sent me a bonus disc with 6 DJ mix sets . And for only £6.99 + £2.50 shipping. Cheaper than buying from Amazon, and I got some BB bonus goodies too. I now have all of the Big Bud albums, Good Looking and Sound-Trax, as well as the Fear of Flying remixed album. This dude is awesome!

Big Bud is one of the best Drum & Bass producers I've ever had the pleasure of hearing, and I listen to him often! This album picks up where Fear of Flying left off. Very very good stuff! :thmbsp:

Klaus Schulze ~ Dune (Brain, '79)

Good ol' Klaus doing his thing on analog synths along with eerie, drawn-out, ominous cello tones and drones. I know it's still pretty hot in many parts of the country, but this music has an icy winter chill to it. Just terrific. The German sleeve has a gorgeous foil-like shine to it which was hard to capture in my photo.
