A very good album! I've also enjoyed A Shoreline Dream, who have a somewhat similar sound to Ulrich Schnauss.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm definitely going to check these folks out!

They're really probably more shoegaze than anything, but to me have a similar aesthetic. And a couple tracks feature Ulrich Schnauss, so that's likely a lot of the association.

Tangerine Dream - Electronic Meditation - 1970

[Heavy_Sixer]

Wow! I can't believe I haven't seen this thread before! Lots of variety under the umbrella of "electronica and electro" Tangerine Dream album Turn the Tides was in the CDP this morning. With the light snow falling I was in a little darker mood and just finished listening to VNV Nation Futureperfect. Beloved and Airships felt very fitting while watching the snow fall from my third floor window.

One of the cornerstones of electronic music, IMO.................

Very cool. I need to dig into more of the stuff of the 70s outside the obvious stuff like Kraftwerk.

Tangerine Dream - Phaedra - 1974

Another absolutely timeless document of electronica.
