Are these a quality speaker?
What are these worth?
Is $100 a fair price?

Have to travel a ways to hear them - but it's a trip I make once a month.

Thanks for your input

Pro 22's have a decent following..With their hyperbolic dome tweeter and woofer s with woven on surrounds and sturdy build..$100 is a very fair price..They sell for more around these parts..
They may knock your socks off when you hear them..These put Energy and API on the map when they came out back in the Eighties.

A piece of Canadian audio history. If the tweeters are working, that sounds fair, if not you can either try to get them at a lower price if you want to get the tweeters fixed out (~$300 for both).

If the tweeters work, then it is a fantastic bargain. One of the best sounding speakers I have and I have many. If even one tweeter is bad, though, skip it, as they are impossible to find and very expensive to fix.

Yup...those tweeters are unobtainium. I had a pair of Mirage M1's and sold them cheap because two of the 4 tweeters were out...they were made by API's as well.
