finally got a review on one of my favorite preamps the other day and thought i'd share it with everybody.

I must have been doing laundry that day, & missed it. Boy, the faceplate looks a lot like a Citation I, doesn't it? :scratch2:

Chris, I'm trying hard. Right now I am dangling an Audio Research tube amp in front of him with a new octet of 6550s, and it has caught his interest. Like many of these situations, it is a once every three months back burner type of conversation.

Fortunately, I am trading from a strength, and his is looking to fill a need with a reliable tube amp. The Fairchild TTs are also rare as hen's teeth, but more reasonably priced here in the States, if I ever zigged rather than zagged to get into the Fairchild club..:thmbsp:
