This is interesting, and I've been watching it.
Why would it be locked to the pole? They aren't on Earth.
Perhaps trapped by the hex jet stream?
What were its origins? Poles= cold, and coming out of Saturnian winter, this pole seems unlikely to have such a feature. Did vortices from the jet stream sympathetically combine?
What is the energy source? On Earth, water vapor. Nonesuch in plentiful supple there.
I love frontier science. Everything is in disarray with frayed ends and with no corroborative answer.
