Favorite T.V. theme song

Probably a battle between the Munsters, A-Team, and the Rockford Files for the top.

There were a lot of good ones, some are in the mp3 collection and get periodic play. The Greatest Amercan Hero them falls in that category as does A-Team, Magnum PI, Rockford, original Hawaii Five O and some others.

But also another one that the Banana Splits theme pops up in the head every so often over the years. I guess that one got burned in as a young child. One Banana, two banana, three banana, four ...

Doctor who - all the opening sequences since 1963 to current - for the Who fans they're all here back to back. You can hear how they were changed over the years.

My knee jerk reaction was "Cheers." After reading through all of the posts, I realize I have favorites for different reasons and different times in my life.

I also thought I might add something that hadn't been listed, but nothing truly noteworthy comes to mind.

So, with the help of others here, I've got:
Partridge Family
Scooby Doo
Cheers
Twin Peaks
And surprisingly to me Rockford Files. Now I can't get that theme out of my head! But that's okay, it's a good one.

If you like that kinda stuff, the 1997 PC game "Interstate '76" is cool (the whole soundtrack is pretty good)-



I'll also cast another vote for "Barney Miller". Possibly one of the most recognizable bass lines of all time.

...and put me down for the end credit for WKRP. I wish there was a full length version of that.
