Favorite T.V. theme song

Paul Henning’s The Ballad of Jed Clampett, recorded by Jerry Scoggins and the great Flatt and Scruggs was memorable; theme songs from
Bewitched and Captain Kangaroo were too.
Also, one can’t talk about television theme songs and music without mentioning the late David Rose, aka Ray Llewellyn, who wrote the themes of Highway To Heaven, Little House, Bonanza, Leave It To Beaver, Highway Patrol and others. Rose’s orchestra also anchored popular TV shows, most notably Red Skelton’s.

i have to agree with previous posts.

Twilight Zone is creepy, totally fits the show. My sister watches it endlessly, alone, and she's never creeped out as long as she mutes the theme song.

Woke up This Morning ( Sopranos ) ...probably the only theme song I'll let play if watching a repeat. It just does such a good job of setting the mood.

If you want to be a player, but your ride ain't fly, call MTV they'll pimp your ride.

Wot, no fans of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" theme? Great vampire surf punk stuff, says I.

A short lived show starring Jay Mohr called "Action".
The theme song was Warren Zevon's "Even a Dog Can Shake Hands" .
