Fisher 500c - LED Replacement - what´s the problem?

ok . s maybe i find one with a brighter light, mine are very very dim.

Im not sure its supposed to be "bright"... if your using warm white and have replaced the gasket material it should just give subtle color to the dial glass lettering. The magic eye tube is going to be brighter for sure.
 
When I have LEDs that flicker I install a bridge rectifer and convert the AC to DC going to the led lamps....a capacitor is really not needed.
 
LED's draw very little current ~10mA for a std T1 or T1-1/4. Powering off the supply that was used for the original incandescent lamps, usually AC, is not necessary and can be avoided. To make life much simpler, use a DC supply, even better if it is regulated, all you will need is a voltage dropping resistor in series with the LED in order to arrive at the desired op current. The math is simple (Supply V - LED V) / 10mA. In some cases you can install a pot and a resistor in series, that way you can vary the brightness to your liking.
