Fisher speakers....Good or Bad?

Fisher speakers....are these good ones or are they the carpy ones?

Some of the early Fisher speakers used good drivers (forget the brand ) but the later units were glitz, made to look impressive but don't rap on the box with your knuckles unless you like the sound of a hollow box.

I have never seen Fisher speakers with oak cabinets. That is probably a mistake and they are vinyl. Then I would pass.
If they are oak they might be worth a look as they would be really rare models.
That is, of course, highly unlikely.

I don't think they worth 60 bucks. Most likely they sound OK, but that's about it.
