It seems that I have seen a lot of CL ads lately where the party was selling items in order to raise funds for an "x-box".

Thanks for making me read through that; I have a headache now. Never mind the stuff he is selling - I would like to strangle that guy just for his butchering of the English language.

He could have butchered his grammatical usage even more.

Yes he needs an X-Box. Who needs to take the time to learn something that should have been mastered by 4th grade. I think this would the appropriate smiley.:withstpd:

Yay, big floppy passive radiators! Got to love Philips and their crazy marketing ideas. "Woox" must have sold so many plastic boomboxes...

I can't believe he spelt "rattles" wrong. You'd think that someone capable of selling something would have a grasp of the English language.

He spelled rattles (raddles?) wrong twice! Maybe he just has a speech impediment?

Seriously, "young people" can't spell these days, I spend a bit of time grading University papers and I'm not sure what it's like in the rest of the world, but down here things are pretty dire

On another note, he needs to sell the system because of debt, but is willing to sell it for an X-Box?

I don't want to seem rude but bad spelling is rampant everywhere!

I believe this current generation is lost to grammar and diction.

How do you know he's young?

Agreed. Why just today I was at the new Lowes that opened up here and the beautiful, crisp, new, professionally crafted sign near the carts began as follows:

"For your childs safety..."

If only I had had a Sharpie.

I have always had a knack for grammar. (when I feel like it) But I cannot learn to spell. I think it has something to do with the central pathway in my brain not being fully developed. (Also causes problems with foreign languages and causes me to be partially ambidextrous.)

Because he "yo'd".
For what it's worth, I might be able to use a reviever on some of my gear.

After seeing that, I have to reiterate what I've been saying a lot lately..........................WE'RE DONE!:(

There is an elementary school about a mile from my house that has some construction going on.

One large sign at the site says : CONSTRUCTION VECHICLES ONLY!

I have to laugh at how many teachers see that sign every day! :D

It has a nice analog meter that does absolutely nothing except, maybe, show the relative distortion level.
