Many moons audio has ad at the bottom of the page.He did work for me on several Sansui and pioneer amps.I have delt with him for years and he is fair and honest.He just started doing this full time instead of working as a construction electrition.He is in Oklahoma so you would have to ship.I just sent him a G9000 but won't get to it till March since he is backed up that far.He has done a Sansui 8080,9090,Pioneer1250 for me.The shipping always worries me but if double boxed and packed well it will make it ok.I have had dealings with him for last five years and never had a problem at all.My 1250 he did last year is fantastic.I went the extra money and put the new filter caps in mine also.It will cost some serious coins for complete overhaul but well worth it if you are keeping and not selling again for profit.Just tell him Ronnie in Ohio sent you and he will know me.There are other people out their but I go with who I trust to do a good job. Just remember if your going to play it cost to keep these vintage machines up to par.Give him a call he is great to talk to.

I've spoken with Manymoons about my G-9k. He's in Tulsa and seems to be very experienced. At the time I spoke with him, he either had a G-9ks on his bench. Kev has one too. Even though Kev is in NZ, he was there for me when I had questions.
You just need to spend a few bucks on some supplies and you'll be ready to go.

I'm not sure if member dewickt is taking on anything at the moment or how backed up he may be but he would be a little closer to you if you want to save a little on shipping.

A space or two at the end of the sentences would make this a lot easier to read. Plus, a space after the comma's.

:thmbsp: Was yours the one with the broken speaker switches and excessive DC on the speaker outs? THAT was a clean amp.Be nice to Ron. He may not be able to type, but he can talk with the best of them. He has a many interesting stories to tell.

I am sorry I can't type that great. I was just trying to help the man as I would any one. I didn't know I had to pass a test to belong to this site. A man better look at him self before he judges others. Be kind to your fellow man and do a good turn daily and life will be rewarding. That is what makes a man.NOT HIS GRAMMER. You know, it was just an observation and nothing else...didn't mean to kick sand in your taco. Did you not notice the smiley at the end? There is nothing wrong with your typing and it wasn't a judgmental statement. I just stated that it would have been easier to read.

Yep...that was my amplifier. Was that you that fixed it? Awesome job and it sounds wonderful! I've got to clean the switches/controls on my DX-4200 sometime soon as it's getting a little sticky and scratchy on those controls.
He can type fine. I just pointed out something simple as I hope someone would do for me as well. I can take constructive criticism. Apparently, some can't.
Yes it was. I remember yours because most of them I work on have been run through the wringer..... Yours looked like it just came out of the box!!

Oh yeah. It's been working like a champ and runs any pair of speakers I've put on it with no problem at all. That stack of SC gear I picked up in Dallas a few years back was definitely taken care of by the original owner. I've done my best to keep all my main gear in as good of shape as possible.

Paul at Many Moons only did the amplifier part of my G-801 (Which I didn't know when I bought it.) and it sounds incredible. The real experts have waiting lists for a good reason but take my word for it: it's worth the wait.
As far a grammar goes, even the experts make mistakes. I used to belong to an investment site and the guru would get angry at bad grammar, especially the confusion of different forms of "its" and "there." He was a writer and Latin scholar. But sometimes it became irritating. Herman Melville had spelling problems which would drive his publisher crazy.
