General feelings on a/d/s speakers?

Just picked up some a/d/s L8e speakers on the side of the road-

in amazing shape.

can't seem to find a lot of info on the web.

feedback on a/d/s or the L8e?

imo, they're as good as any other spkrs i've had.

I have L8e's and they are currently hooked up to the big Mac in the main system. So I would definitely give them a +1.

but seriously, I've liked a/d/s speakers that I've heard. A laid back and accurate sound

It appears that we have a mandate from the masses on the L8e (also B8).

Great speakers, one of my favorites of the line.

I ran mine off an Dynaco ST70 for many years and never felt like I was missing much.

My favorite ADSs. There was an ADS craze a couple of years ago. I went through 4 or 5 models and I wasn't to impressed until I found the L8es. The bass is thin, but for bookshelf sized speakers not bad. Great imaging, wonderful mids to highs.
