They just stopped making their best speakers to date - 3.7 and moved to HT world.Theil also lost their speaker designer, but they are great as ever!
Alrighty then, as I've learned to become a better soul for knowing both of you so much so, I just don't have it in me to argue or dispute things with others as much as I once enjoyed - whom said you can't teach an olde dog new tricks.........., I'm barking and rolling around the floor more each day and loving it.
Later guys.
More audioporn.

As a wise person once said....Live your life abundantly....and after that... live some more~

:sigh:Brother hold your breath there I don't feel this DSD thingy kicks my vinyl to thr kerb yet! Will get myself some native DSD files soon and see how it sounds though.

Been trying DSD on the fly in JRiver (I do have a pretty monster PC with 16 GB of RAM). So far unsure. Need to do a side to side comparison.
The comparison will be done this week, hopefully.
Get a few CD's and rip them DSD 128, then tell me how they sound. But I'm with you....it's not totally like vinyl, but close.
I could do that, but I'd like to tinker with native DSD files first.
As you'd know no vinyl rig is the same with each other, so we will have to identify the attributes that might make DSD close to vinyl. So far it's been the airy sense in the SQ that causes me to think that way. But it's not totally like vinyl to me. More of something in-between digital and vinyl, closer to digital.
But still I'm at my very early stage.
With my system going to 256 DSD only took 4-10% of the CPU.
That was with JRiver - haven't tried HPQ - but it looks like a pisser to get right.
I R LAZY - I like the Android Remote control I get with JRiver![]()
