Sorry for the delay in replying. That Sphinx does sound excellent, as well as their Cronus Magnum for those prefering more tubes in the system and of course the aforementioned Pharaoh. Another good thing about Rogue is that they will continue to improve on their products and offer you a chance to update, as they have on both Sphinx & Cronus. I just may be contacting you on the cable thing, plus I remember you giving me a great recommendation on some 6SN7 tubes when I had the 99 Super Magnum pre. Anyway, to get it back onto the Going Digital thrust of the thread, I do have the Regen going into an iFi Micro DSD into the Pharaoh, using either the speakers (JSE Infinite Slope - models 1 or 2) or HiFiMan HE-400s phones through either the Micro or Pharaoh's headphone out & life is extremely good!!

And like you........., I know that Rogue got it right, and have been offering domestically great sounding and priced gear as an alternative to Chinese made components that anyone can afford as compared to the greedier companies stating that their entry level tube Integrated's start at $5.000, whom aren't then thinking about the average joe in so much as catering to the 1-2% whom merely buy said items passed upon these companies past glories or reputation, when in fact many of them don't even offer tube gear that sounded half as refined as their earlier 1985|95 stablemates offered.
And in fact many sound more solid state then solid state, when I do move onwards to another integrated, it'll be either said Sphinx as a bare minimum, or Audio Note Kit L1 or Oto SE or a Croft Hybrid Integrated as logic proves that either are more then capable of driving my Totem The One Speakers, so in my mind I'd much prefer refinement over raw power any given day or the week, and twice on Sunday's.
