Yes sir! I've that and a few more! I've ripped them all to DSD128 and send them to the DSD DAC native....sounds better than the CD! Back in the day...can you say Three Blind Mice?

Try and find it on eBay. I think I got mine on eBay from Japan....and it wasn't as expensive. But that was a while ago.

Nice video, Bro! And yes....I love all those CDs as well! Oh....and I've converted them all to DSD128 and they are sent native to the Micro where no up sampling is performed. The sound is outstanding.

I've heard those PM1's a few times. There is a local audio shop that has all the B&W speakers. I've heard them with McIntosh amps....very warm amps. An amp with such a warm flavor requires the opposite speaker for the magic to happen. Good call Bro!

If Lee Harvey had an Airtight amp...all I Would say is ..DAM, DAM, DAM! That's some great stuff! And every bit of $9500 big ones!

That AirTight would be nice but way out of my budget. As for McIntosh I am not much of a fan. Their stuff is built like tanks, lasts forever and holds its value but I just not impressed with the sound I have heard out of their modern gear. The Vinnie Rossi ILO is on my short list with the tube preamp section. Also I would like to try out the Line Magnetics 218 or 518 integrated amps. But they could only be used in the winter as those big tubes would cook me in my room during the summer. I would like to stay in the $4K range for a new integrated amp to go with the PM1's. Or I try out the Harbeth C7's as a replacement speaker and keep the Exposure amp?

I just spotted where you and Lee Harvey were asking about this very same question on CA, where a few of the guys have reported liking both, as well as the Aqvox ( which were in fact on my list as well ) and even a couple of guys whom like the Pangea Silver USB which Lee Harvey presently owns............., so I'm hoping to see what he says?.

Yet I do agree with the one guys statement about the USB cable coming from the iFi or Regen, as well as the one going into the DAC from either is just as vital, as I'm using an 0.7m Supra in said location off the Regen into the iDSD DAC and loving it as opposed to the hard adapter.

Maybe in the new year the Curious Cable shall be obtained after all. As I've heard USB cables upwards of $1.200 which I believed couldn't even touch the Vertere Acoustic D-Fi V2, not along the Supra which to my ears has a very very very well balanced presentation that ones again has a nice sense of musical flow going on with it, once one gets pass the desire for something that offers a more detailed HiFi type sound and wants to have the notes actually wash over their spirit in a very natural and uncolored way as heard via this olde dogs ears.

To date I've to say the very best USB cable that has entered my system was the CAD ( $500|1m ) which offers a sound that many would die for.............., but it's not going to suit everyone's taste, nor budget in much the same way the Supra is capable of drawing you into the music.........., as opposed to sound, I've sold 17 of my friends on it since last week, with 14 of them reporting back to me that they loves it's presentation as well, so let's then see what the other 3 have to say?, including Lee Harvey.

Yet regardless of said findings, like both the Regen | iUSB 3.0 mine is here to stay.............., while a few might be added........., it's not going anywhere, and you've my word on that one, 4 'Sho.

I have had the Supra running between the iUSB 3.0 and the Regen for the past couple of days. I know this cable has not broke in yet but this combination is making too much bass and boom for my taste. Also the highs are a bit rolled off. I pulled the Regen out of the mix this afternoon and just have the iUSB connected to the iDSD. That took care most of boom and tightend the bass up. JRiver is cycling some music with the volume muted for now to give the Supra some more burn-in time. The Pangea Silver cable is cleaner and open sounding than what I am hearing with the Supra but I will give it a chance burn-in before I can make a final judgement.

Yeah that Airtight is all that and more. But may I say...if you are looking for $4000 or less, look into the Octave Audio amps. I've heard them and they are excellent as well. They start around a little less than $4000. But that Vinnie Rossie is a great amp as well.....I love hybrids!

Dave, are you aware of Eastwind Imports? And do you buy down loads? I've found most of my music (CD)on eBay for much cheaper....just rip it to DSD 128 and your set, and you have a backup copy in the CD.

As Byron has mentioned elsewhere, I believe this is one of those cases where things simply aren't going right due to the different variants of cabling used throughout your system, I can understand using CablePro Speaker Cables as well as their AC Cords with solid state gear as Ted was one of those types whom assisted NANA with their nice Noisetrapper Line Distributer and AC cords back in the day, but am inclined to think that the Kimber Silver Streak and Pangea products aren't allowing the Supra to shine.............., as once again I hear what it was capable of within the first minute it entered my system, and once again no such overripe bass or boomy sonics here.

You might try to use in tandem with the Regen, as it was primary the reason I pursued it seeming that it's recommended by the guys whom actually make it instead of with the iUSB 3.0, or maybe it seeming plays better with tubes?, yet judging from those systems I've spotted on the various forum I've seen that use said Regen | Supra USB cable in their systems, I'd think there's more to it.

While I'll admit it's more rolled out at the very top end versus my other 7 USBs, in my system it comes across as spacious - airy and offers enough detailing capabilities to have cymbals heard here lingering better then anything else I own................, it you decide that you don't like it?, and can wait until the 30th?, I'll gladly take it off your hand.

Just give me a shout via email once you've decide one way or the other, as I like what I hear............, as do the 14 guys I mentioned earlier, so I'm stunned on the results in your system, but it is what it is.

Eastwind aint cheap, either. But I do order vinyl from them......Ebay is my first choice for CD's because 95% of the time they're lots cheaper for Cd's.....then rip to DSD128....send to the DSD DAC where the magic is heard.

Yes, it's class D but unlike any class D you could imagine! It's a tube like sound in an ultra powerful efficient package. It's a $10,000 amp that sells for $1875.

That's the site but the numbers , specs and prices have not been update just yet. Dennis tells me a site and sepcifications update are at the website designer and the site should be updated soon. It's quiet and powerful and with a 30 day trial. When John (PGunn at Magnastand) told me it was one of the best amps he's heard up to $10,000 I had to try it. It won't be going back John and I may not agree on a few thing but he was right about this amp. In 30 years I've never had my wife enthusiastically comment on a gear change from a sound point of view until Monday, she said I don't understand excatly what you've done but that's the best your system has ever sounded.

I enjoyed the Salk's and should have been satisfied but they ( other the the Salk Sub and center) are out of the rotation too and heading to the bedroom system.

I was missing something. I had been bit by the planar bug and convinced myself the the condo we purchased two years ago was just to small so I let them go. But once bit they are hard to shake and I'm going back to the fold.

I hooked the new amp up to the Salk's for a few,
Like what I'd heard and then unboxed the Maggie's , better still!
