Granted, I did give 600 for it, but this may top the SX 1980 I found a few years ago for 40 bucks"

Gotta love these little beach towns garage sales. Not your ordinary garage sale find.

My SX-1980 was freebies, so there!!

It was a 3 story house on the water, circular drive with a 2 car garage on one side and a one car on the other. The only car I saw there was an older S class Benz...

Finally some small finds!!!!

After 5+ weeks of hitting 2 - 4 thrifts virtually daily, I made enough modest finds to re-enforce this habit!! 2 weeks ago, I found a pair of Polk Audio Reference series 4's for $8.91. Nothing great, but it broke the ice! Yesterday at the same SA I found a perfect pair of Baby Advent III's for 12.91. At the same store today there was a mint Harmon Kardon AVR 230 for $55.91 minus a 25% senior citizen discount! So, small pickin's compared to what most of you find, but it's a start and it seems to have locked me into this obsession!!! Now where's that SX-1250!!!
