Grado gold stylus

I have a Thorens 150 mkii turntable with an older grado gold gf 3 cartridge. I inadvertently broke the stylus dusting the other day and need to replace it. Will a new grado gold3 replacement stylus work with the older gf 3 cartridge?

I'm 99% sure it will but may need some kind of shim. I have an older G1 running an 8MZ replacement stylus and it's a bit loose where the original wasn't. I cut a small piece of paper to wedge between the stylus assembly and slot wall on the side opposite the contacts of course, this tightened things up nicely.

It worked without the shim and sounded fine but my OCD said it needed a bit more
