Grado Gold Upgrade Path

I don't think you're whining at all. I think you make a very valid point. I can't tell you the 3's are no big deal yet. Actually, this is the first Blue I've owned. I own Black2 and Gold2. Also have a few older Grados. I had a Black(1) for awhile and wasn't crazy about it. After I get some hours on this Blue3 I'm going to compare it to my Gold2. Too soon for that now as the Blue3 has maybe 2-3 hours.

Exactly. Some people l know snub there noses at bonded styluses. Don't understand it. I hear quite a bit about your modified AR tables. What do you do to these tables. I may be interested in one.

I'm currently instructing two guys from here on how to transform ARs (XA and XB mostly,) into one that would front most anybody's system.
My health is such these days that pointing and talking is about as deep as i go.

The 3 series is a giant upgrade from the 2..
 
All good news I'm happy to hear! Great improvements and no price changes! It just sucks fot those of us who just bought a Prestige 2 (I'm limited to just a Black2 stylus). From a very personal perspective, I'd be curious to understad if a new 8mz stylus would make an old Signature outperform a Gold 3, or a Gold 3 (or any Prestige 3 body) body with a new 8mz stylus would be the top for the series. Or is there a chance the Gold 3 stylus and new 8mz are equivalent (that would not make any commercial sense, though)?
