Great Bands...... Lousy Songs

zebra03

All Audio - NO BS
We all have favorite bands , but every once in a while they create a song that makes you cringe . I'll start .

Jethro Tull - 4WD ( Low Ratio )

Nothing by Jethro Tull is lousy (Not!) ;)

The Beatles - Besame Mucho
Edit : hummm that's no good, they did not write it.

ELP - Tiger in a spolight

Yeah. They had a lot of "biters" starting with the 'A' album.

I will get flamed, but so be it.

I just cannot stand "Magic Bus" by the Who. Used to see Kids are Alright at the midnight movie and that is when I would make a restroom run. Live at Leeds version is even more of a nightmare. Most people love it. I don't know why, but I cringe.

The Beatles' "What Goes On" is one of the few pick up the needle/grab the CDP remote moments of their repertoire.

"West of the Fields" is a dull song on an otherwise stellar Murmer by REM.

Rush - I Think I'm Going Bald.

About the only Rush song I skip.

It may be more pertinent if you actually happen to be going bald. :D
Though I will agree not there best effort, but honestly I can thing of worst.

Gorky Park - Peace In Out Time. Even Alexey Belov phenomenal guitar work can't save this travesty, though unsurprisingly it was written and arranged by Bon Jovi (:yuck:). Hell even the band hated the song, the only time they played it was when the recorded it for the album.
