where can i find pics of vintage h/k tube amps?.
i'm looking for 1950-1965 era with the copper face.

Vacuum Tube Valley periodical published 2 largish soft cover books calle HiFi Spotters Guides that had reproductions of catalog pages of practically ALL tube amps from 1950 thru the end of the tube era. All the HK models are shown, IIRC.

I have an HK TA-10 which is a mono tube receiver.
It's one of their lower end units from the late 1950's.
It uses 2 x 12AX7 2 X 6V6GT 1 X 5Y3GT and a few
other assorted tubes in the tuner.

I posted some pictures awhile back in this thread. I think
HK also made an integrated amp very similar to this .....
I saw one listed on ebay awhile back.

Good books. I have both, but the reproductions of the catalogs are mediocre
to poor quality xeroxing. Very little detail is reproduced. Look elsewhere if
you need nice pictures.

tuner is a theme ii.
the amp is a prelude ii.
now to do some research.

well it's up and running .
sounds pretty good to me even though i'm not real versed in tube stuff.
it looks like both units are from 1958 from what i've been able to find.

i saw your 250. that is a nice unit.
i just wish i could find a stereo amp in my neck of the woods for the prices i find mono units lol.

thanks i found and read both of those.

for a whopping 12 watt amp it sounds pretty good lol.
