Haiku

[bobsvinyl]

Earlobes

Useless flaps of flesh
Unless you're selling earrings
They pay the mortgage.

[Quadman2]

TRASH

Useless left overs
remnants of things cast out
evidence of waste.

Q

[bobsvinyl]

Trolls
Creeping through forums
Spreading words like bitter seeds,
Growing dissension.

[bobsvinyl]

Phoenix
Ancient threads revived
New thoughts coursing through the site.
Interest renewed.

Bang on here, B.

FEBRUARY

Time of transition
knife-like frigid winds reigning
with Old Man Winter

[bobsvinyl]

Snow

Quiet and catlike
Whispering, meandering
Across the flagstones.

Quiet and catlike
Whispering, meandering
Across the flagstones.

I could hear it, B.

Q

[Quadman2]

OLYMPICS

Testing human form
total strength, endurance, speed
all commit their all.

NEWS

Every day made up
information, events, or
facts and real truths?

Q

[bobsvinyl]

Talking Heads

Mastiff jaws snapping
Barking incoherently
Feeding off itself.

[bobsvinyl]

Jello
Glowing green color
Molded, cubed, layered with fruit
Cosby career choice.

[Quadman2]

Like the way you've dropped "definite articles" in your content, B.

What make and age is your dog?

Curious.

SHILOH

Tempest brown tiger
Siamese sulking feline
cool deep blue staring!

He lived until 19 years, and
still miss him.

Sahuarita rain
Cloudy, windy, few sprinkles
Clear and blue again

COOL! A "Haikuan" weather report!

You've just broken new poetic "ice".

Q

Australian Kelpie,
Bred to herd sheep and cattle,
Brilliant and insane.

Seven months ago,
Rescued him from young couple.
He drove them crazy.

Now fourteen months old.
A wonderful canine friend,
Constant companion.

[Quadman2]

Again, you've broken the mold from which "Haiku" initiated, and elongated this oriental format!

Nice!
