Harman Kardon PA2400 amp

Built in the early 90's it is supposed to be very stable down to 2ohm's. Did Harman Kardon make decent sounding amps in this time period. Any other HK recommendations from this 90's?

I used to own an HK PA5800 at one time. It was pretty good as a multichannel amp (80W x 5 into 8 ohms/ 110W x 5 into 4 ohms) and was even better with just two channels run in stereo (less demands on the power supply). This amp was highly sought after as a great amp for the money. The MSRP was $900.00 but at the time could be had brand new for about $600.00. They rarely show up for sale, likely because owners are holding onto them.
