Blame COVID, inflation, Hollywood, and all forms of news media. All lead to malcontent.
Consider folks being addicted to a source successfully sued with documented admissions of guilt from the staff for a 3/4 billion bux settlement for aggressively promoting repeated lies to rile and pander a specific pool of viewers with disinformation as their stock in trade.
And it changes, nothing.

Then, there's that someone.

Who gets a thrill or doesn't even know he gets under your skin? The guy who wedges his expertise into every conversation at work --- even sports, which he has no idea what he is talking about and has to use Google before squeezing his way into the group.

There could be 5 ppl having a great conversation. He comes into the room and everyone disperses immediately.

The contrarian.

He: "What is the best way to enter this into the computer?"

You: "I like to do it this way."

He: "Oh no! You can't do it that way! I like to do it this way or that!"

You: "Well then, why did you ask? Just do it your way."

He: "But I like your way, even though it's wrong."

These types want to go to a karaoke bar with you after work—the guy you've been arguing with for 10 hours straight.

UGH!!! Those types leave an everlasting emotional scar.

I am normally a tolerant and patient person, with an inherent ability to see the other sides point of view, however my anger levels regarding a certain subject have been high for around eight months and are entirely political, I can/shall say no more than that.

I am so happy to be able to scream, “Get off my lawn, you damn kids!” And have the gray hair to complete the picture.
One advantage of being old you go to the customer service desk and the young girl behind the counter throws money at you and says please don’t yell at me ! Even the your not really that upset ! I guess it’s a perk Lol !

It's like she sees the unbridled curmudgeon when spotting older customers. The senior citizen Karen.

... It's really difficult to figure out but I'm ready to explode at the smallest of things. It's actually concerning me. Is this something you have been experiencing yourself?

Ho boy, you've opened "Pandor's Box" relating to anger in these times.

As individuals, our anger can come from various causes and to different degrees of this reaction.

I thought of listing some of the most relevant specifics... but it would more than fill a page.

So, just pondered on some major evocations that you can fill in the empty blanks.

Gov't priorities/accomplishments

Politicians

Rising cost of living

World dissention

3rd World- problems

1st World- haves and have nots

Old age

Family discord

Pollution

Diverse religions

Technology impacts

Media control

Weather

Over population

The stimuli for anger are there, but which ones can you personally deal with, and how to do so?
