Health concerns

G'day, My mom had a hip replaced last December 23rd. She gets around like her hip is new. Wait, it is. She had no issues afterwards at 78 years old. And that was up here in Podunk ND. OK, she had an excellent surgeon who will be doing my knee in the near future.

Prayers for your mothers health and your surgery.

Got back from Mom's app. and it looks like the cancer has returned but it is in it's infancy and should be manageable . Our doctor is very confident and best of all , mom is in good spirits .

On to the hip 9-21 .

I am getting a new hip on 9-21 and I am just a little apprehensive .

Today , I got a call from my mom's doctor and he wants to see her first thing Friday . She has survived thyroid cancer but now , he thinks maybe something else is going on after a cat-scan and ultrasound .

I will take all the prayers and goodwill for my mom as you can stand .

Praying for you and your mom now....and there's no limit as to how much praying I can handle. Keep your chin up. :thmbsp:

.....Crossing my fingers for both your Mother and you, Zebra....on to 9-21 and the hip replacement....

I am trying to stay positive , but it is starting to wear me down . It seems my Mom's problems are a little more serious than thought . A whirlwind of ultrasounds , catscans and appointments are mounting . In addition , getting ready for my surgery has also brought on blood tests , appointments and classes .

For a moment , I thought I might delay my surgery to help my mom . I think now , she might need me more later , so I will go ahead and get my hip replaced .

We will all be with you tomorrow. May the surgery go fine, the recovery fast, and you dance with the nurses on the way out the front door.

Hopefully they laid in a good supply of superglue to hold it all together! :D Really though I hope you're reading this after the "juice" wears off and are doing well.:yes::yes:

I know a bunch of folks who have had this surgery, and they ALL are glad they went through it. Good luck.

Hope everything turned out well, and all the nurses are...ahem...good clinically and good looking. That should keep your mind off your knee.
