Health concerns

We got some good news about my mom . No surgery , just pills and another oblation . She feels good and is eating well .

And me , I am allowed to walk with a cane now . Oh , And I got 40 staples out of my hip/ass so that's good . Slow but sure . The PA who's job was to spread the muscles in my butt check to get the hip in said he had never encountered such big muscles before . So I am telling all my friends they can no longer call me a fat ass or say I am just big boned . woohoo

Thanks for all the prayers and support .

It started innocently enough , my mom called Sunday morning 11-29-15 and said she was having problems swallowing . We took her to the local hospital emergency room and they in turn life-flighted her to Pittsburgh Hospital . The doctors thought the swelling was an infection and so started with steroids and anti-biotics . The swelling went down some but not enough . It got to be to the point which my mom needed a temporary feeding tube .
Something went wrong and she could not breath . Next , intubate . Something happened . We don't know . Decisions had to be made that no one should have to make .

And now she is gone . My dear , sweet mother . My best friend . We could talk about anything and I could make her laugh with my truly awful impressions . We were there for each other and I held her hand today . The last time . I know she is going to heaven , so now I have to be extra good so I can see her again .

Aw man Im so very sorry for you having to go though this. You sound like me with my Mom before she passed in 2011. Dude I know how hard this is and trust me she knows you did everything you possibly could for her. You where there for her and that's the best thing you could have done.

God Speed, may She rest in peace now.

I grieve with you. May her memory be for a blessing, and may her presence light up the heavenly realm. Baruch Dayan haEmet (Blessed is the Judge of Truth).

Aww man, Zeeb, sorry for your loss. I still miss my Mom and Dad. I long to just sit down and talk with them. I hope your recovery is still going well.

Well, hang in there. As they say, it gets better. I hope you're at least feeling good physically.

Very, very sorry for your loss.

I fear the day my Mom passes.
I can only imagine the grief that will ensue, something I truly hope passes quickly for you and yours.
