Nice! 70-72 are my favorite years i think but that ealry stuff gets easily overlooked! 66-70 when pigpen was really on his game was some super bluesy fire!

yeah, i agree, but I love all their eras, what bothers me is how good they were while donna was wailing with them, and she so distracts from the technical play... I often find myself yelling 'shut up, donna!' at my speakers. Her husband, however, was an amazing pianist.

Hahah for real man! Therez times when i can really dig donna, but most ofthe time i feel likeshes just trying to drown out the guitar!

In all honesty, hope you get your homestead cleaned up, percolating with heat again, and then on to assessing any more damage your uninvited guests might have caused you.

Squirrels chewed the fuel lines on my truck last summer,...$750 later, was a difficult pill to swallow. At any rate, they're not welcome here.
Ive known several people that have had their front brake flex lines chewed by porcupines. The op,s rodent was most likely looking over the internal quality of cv,s when their was a clash between a woofy and a tweaker.:) In my garage, me and a friend under the influence of foamy pop jigged for chipmunks with a rod and reel and a peanut tied to the line sans any hooks or harmful stuff.Their willing fighters and will fight bigtime for that peanut.,lol.In the end my friend fuzzy was given a big stash of peanuts.Everytime I would go out to the garage he would race there to get a load for the winter. He would crawl all over me.

Haha man i hope not! I moved in about a year ago now and ive heard them gnawing on the roof but never thought one would find his way in. Like i said the dumbwaiter (or my son calls it a "dinglehop" haha) goes to the roof. Theres a small gap at the top that i always thought was sketchy but not big enough for a squirrel. I havnt been upthere sumce befire the storm so its possble yhe door on the roof may have blown open or something

May have a nest in the attic? Garage next door had a corner where the squirrels had been entering for a couple years. It was a rental and the tenates cared less. it finally sold and the new owners chased them out and reroofed and soffits' and fascia. It was not a month and they had gnawed their way back in. Same spot. The owner again sealed it with metal this time and it did the trick. But for a year, or two, the family of squirrels, one or two of them every winter would check it out for shelter.
Go outside and watch them for a while. Find their entry and get the owner of the building to replace your speaker. You could have been bit. Wild animals are dangerous pests when they are inside your house. Pat the warrior terrier on the head.

So...your woofer ate your woofer?

Just wait until the squirrel comes back with some buddies & they learn how to use the dumbwaiter. I envision squirrels taking over the house, and the dog ending up on the roof.

So sorry to hear about your speaker . You just can’t make this **** up , I could all most picture this in my head . Thinking might want to go buy a lottery ticket . Really

Speaking of Squirrels was walking the diggity yesterday when she spotted a Hawk ripping apart a freshly caught one. It was on ground level and the hawk didn't flinch as she slowly & quitely crept closer to it.

I was amazed it let us get as close as we did once she got too close the Hawk flapped it's wings made a screeching sound and flew away with the remnants in its talons. The blood stains and bit & pieces are still visible in the snow.

True story and video to prove it although it's too big to upload and I don't do youtube

Heres a pic of the door for the dinglehop in my living room. Thankfully, i have a few different sytems scattered around the house and my living room system (scott 299c+Wharfedale w90d) will be able to pick up the slack until i either find a L-153w cerwin Vega woofer or finish the cornwalls ive been slowly working on.

Edit:also bonus in the above pic, a current picture of Doc (Watson or gonzo depending on his mood haha) without his Christmas clothes

Sometimes I regret Googling something.
This is one of those times.

Dinglehop is when you have a little poop hanging from your bum and you can only get it out by hopping.
