Is the stylus genuine? Needs to be genuine. Remember you have to deal with T4p mount. 1.25 grams tracking force, 6 grams mass. Many generic styli will need more tracking force than T4p will allow. Welcome to AK, you're among friends. This is a very nice turntable in the Technics T4p mount lineup. Very worth a good cartridge.

A shibata has a wide frequency response and is quieter in the groove, and a line-contact lasts longer and has extended frequency response. Take your choice. Both are excellent, and more refined than he eliptical for the EPC-P33.

I just got the ATN3472ML stylus a few days ago. Very nice improvement over my AT85EP that it replaced. Using it on my Technics SL-QD35. Though I should also say that I also got new speakers a week or so before the stylus. I listened to those speakers quite a bit in that week so I feel like I would be well placed to notice the difference from the stylus, But it still makes it a little harder to pinpoint exactly what is different.

Well, technically, it should be better, since it has a "nude" (one piece) diamond tip, which means less mass, therefore, better tracking capabilities than one that has the diamond tip bonded to, say, an aluminium stub.

I know nothing about this one. It's probably good but there's no description of the stylus tip.
