Have a bad 112B reed relay in Onkyo P-303 preamplifier, searched Internet high and low, nothing, let alone datasheet. Does anyone has experience substituting one of these in P-303 or any other piece of gear? Thanks

I'm not really a reed relay expert, but in the past I had to replace a few unobtanium ones in some amps.

This looks to be a 12V SPST relay, the only information you're missing is the coil resistance.

I would desolder it and check for the resistance, then you have all the specs for finding a proper substitute. Of course, let's hope the coil is not open!

Once you figure out coil resistance... Your probably going to have to find a suitable sub that is the approx physical size and mount it " dead bug" -- solder on pigtails to the pins and route the wires to the appropriate soldered connection points.

Dead bug --- Glue to board -- pins up..

Hundreds of relay options available at Mouser or Digikey.Ranging in price from a couple dollars to $45..
