Martin, unfortunately the transformers cannot be repaired. They're completely burned out. This project isn't going any further.

Redboy, Wait, you can not get or do send building some impedance transformers simiilar in primary and secondary to those who wore the pilot 232? Whether or not it is worth, THE EL 84 z primary= 5000 ohms

You have the original iron, so you could try getting new wire and rewinding them. Might be an interesting project, worth a try if you would be throwing them out anyway; you have nothing to lose.
