How much is too much

Thanks to all for your answers. There is a reason for this post. For two years, I have been designing an amp and the final weight is around 97 pounds estimated (Guessed at some). I will post it after I make sure the schematics are the way I want them and that spelling and grammar are correct for you grammar buffs. I also wrote a report on this amp and its safety as best I could with explanations. I have been collecting parts when I can afford them and have the OPT's, tubes, screws & nuts, aluminum plates, plastic sheets, Jensen transformers for xlr outputs and wire. It has everything I could think of except auto-bias. I stayed with Dave Gillespie's EFB. My son, Coronal Panic, helped me make a cool 3D image I designed. Technology is getting wild out there. And my first computer was a 8086. Now I have this little box.

Looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks, guys. I love these answers; I am always the optimist. I wrote to instead of too, okay? I apologize for that. What is the right answer for amp weight? I'd now say whatever it takes to achieve what you want.

For a stereo Push-Pull amp with KT-120 tubes, I'd say that the unit weight would be at least equal to the weight of my ARC D-76, that is to say 35kg.

Fort the power drawn, my measurements shows that my D-76 reaches 4 Amps on 240VAC 50Hz, at 2x75W rated output / 8R.

My home-brewed circlotron mono-blocks weigh about 90 pounds, and you need one for each ear. Got carried away with the transformers.
