How Would You Explain The Sound Of Your System To Another Enthusiast ?

smooth without peaks, articulate, bass tight more like the real sounds. extended and airy when the recording being played is capable of delivering that sound.

i explain that selecting components that will yield this sort of sound is much much more facilitated if the system is separate components and that separates can be made better because they have a singular purpose.

i also explain that high end sound doesn't have to come from COSTLY equipment but that sometimes that is the better way when and if you can swing the money and that it means that much to you.

I wouldn't bother to explain period! It's for me and moi alone to love it and that's all that really matters now isn't it

+1000 !! after all, it`s YOUR system and you set it for what sound`s best to You, for what it is.. If it sounds good/great to someone else, then so be it.. My audio system/s are set up for my pleasure and use, not to impress anybody else, though, compliments of it`s sound by respected "true" friends who have good ears is nice to hear.. This is a stupid question. We all hear differently, meaning we all have different levels of hearing and can hear things other people can't. So what's the point of describing to someone else your interpretation of what your sound system "sounds like"?

STUPID or not,these type of questions are valid to many! People in all walks of life are different and on all manner of subjects whether we like it or not
