I hope some AK members went here today

[Hurst/Olds]

Oh God look at all those vintage receivers! I bet their not selling them at garage sale prices though! Hopefully they all went to a good home, and not to someone who desperately needs one just for the time being and to not care for it and to neglect it.

Ha! Got it!

[Crotalus]

Stopped by this afternoon. Some decent stuff....but.....$160 for a Pioneer SX-650? The Marantz receivers weren't priced too bad. 2225B for $70, 2220 for $90. Everything else was priced at a premium....didn't feel like trying to haggle and left empty handed.

Records were priced at $1 but pretty picked over. Maybe someone will have some luck tomorrow with final day deals.

[bowtie427ss]

That's an RD400....

The bike Yamaha eventually dedicated to Kenny Roberts(1979 RD400 Daytona Special) for putting them on the map with with the race version TZ350.

[SwingModern]

Isn't everything at an "estate" sale pre-priced? I thought you walk through and yea or ney on what you see. I hate that, btw, cause when I go, the things I want are always above ebay cost. Kind of sucks.

Orlando

Yep.

Anything decent at a decent price was gone in the first few minutes. That's the way all estates sales are; I've bee to hundreds. Leftovers are either broken, overpriced or both.
