Idiot mittens

hoop buckle boots
I wore those exclusively in 8th and 9th grades, even to gym class when I could get away with it. They went well with Levi's cords and a Lee Stormrider lined jean jacket with lots of cigarette ashes rubbed into the denim to "antique" it.

Anybody remember Hasbro's tribute to Rube Goldberg, the "Mousetrap" board game?

Manual chokes on cars (or even having to pump gas once to make automatic one engage)
While they're still around, cars came with T handle lug wrenches and full size spares (my current car comes with a can of fix a flat (not even a space saver)
Dial telephones
Distributor caps and points (and condenser)

Still got one.... Sort of.... The muscle car with an electric external choke that really doesn't help much, since I don't drive it when its cold out.
Ditto.
Yup. The only phone in the house without a caller ID feature.
Yup. Except the points and condensor.

And remembered some more:

"They're GRRREEEAAAAT!"
VIC20 and Commodore 64.
4 function electronic calculators for over $100.

I have one of those. I use it to fill the tires on our bicycles and wheelbarrows. It's great. I even used it to inflate a flat truck tire once.

Not sure if these are listed:

Pogo Sticks
Hula Hoop's
Big Wheels and Green Machine
They all have the same thing in common (Outdoor Activities)
We hated staying in the house- Now you can't get them out of the house.

My buddy just sent me this picture of his family business from back in the 50's. He said those machines would last 30 years plus. Now he has to charge that much money just for a belt for the new machines.
