Yet another security flaw that requires foolish users to click on something. Funny how I've never seen any of these types of attacks, be it Java initiated, or Flash initiated like this one.

Responsible browsing habits should be discussed more than the sky is falling threat of the moment. Then again, if its not a crisis (real or otherwise), nobody cares.

Its always good to know that we can rely on Apple owners to inject unsolicited, unhelpful and sometimes patently untrue comments...

Apple has had its own list of security troubles, especially a very similar Java exploit that was a mirror image of the one you just commented on.

IE has security problems? What a supprise.

The only times I have used IE since 2005 or so is to download a different browser.
 
Microsoft has money? ...Why don't they do something positive with it, like get their act together with IE?
If you ask me I think it is truly pathetic.
 
The reason people use IE is because it is faster more universally compatible and it works better than chrome or firefox.
 
I always use Firefox,much prefer it to IE.. First thing I did when I got my new notebook was to download Firefox.

Faster? No way. It could be more universally compatible but I can't remember the last time I had to use it because of a site that wouldn't work in FF or Chrome. And I've never had any evidence that it works better, personal or anecdotal.
 
Have you used IE 11 on fast i5 or 7 computer IE is impressively fast. You got my curiosity, so I looked, several review sites sited IE 11 as the fastest browser. It has come a long way since IE8.

No, I haven't used anything higher than 8. I'm amazed to hear that 11 is beating others.
 
I haven't used anything higher than IE8 before switching to Chrome but whenever I log on to pingtest.net and run a connection quality test IE8 actually scores higher on connectivity quality than Chrome every time. On my machine Chrome is obviously faster (I can see that for myself) but as far as the numbers go IE always does better there. Dunno why tho....:scratch2:
