You all know me as the A-hole construction company guy with the PhD in hard sciences, and a fair amount of opinions/attitude. All of that is true. I just have to "come clean" for myself. I am gay, and my partner and I will celebrate 20 years in October. I know this is awkward--it is for me, but necessary (to me).

I don't know how this will be received, but I am who I am and love who I love.

Thank you all for the kind words. Something in me just made me feel it necessary to let you all know who I am. Yes, I am that pick-up truck driving, gun-totin' redneck from hell with a lot of papers (college education), but I am ME, and nothing can change that. 20 years is a long time, but it sometimes seems like only a minute.Rock on everyone, and thank you!!!

And to my friend savatage, it takes guts to come out, even in 2019. We had been PM'ing back and forth, and he shared this with me. Proud to see him get this off his chest.
