I think you've already drawn your conclusions, whether evidence backs it up or not.
I am very careful to always verify information, make sure linked articles are current and valid and any other links are also current and valid. Surprising how much stuff turns out to the either complete BS, or overstated.
Keep in mind: on the internet, eyeballs are everything. Everybody (even the BBC) recognizes this.
You know things probably changed after the linked article was published.
Possibly. Then the question is how did that change come about?
Maybe AI got a little smarter.
Jebus….the sad thing is there are people out there will just accept that crap as truth.
The dog one is just criminal…makes my blood boil to think that crap is even out there….

My brother and I visited a small town. He asked a general-purpose AI to develop a walking tour with points of historical, cultural and social interest. Turns out that the AI engine did a pretty good job, until it pulled a few directions from another town with a similar name and took us sightseeing on streets that weren’t there, and to sites that were 1,000 miles away.
Since we could not provide feedback to the engine, how was it supposed to learn that it made a stupid and (if it had human emotions) embarrassing mistake? We had great fun with it as there were no real consequences. But. At some point AI is going to make a consequential error.
The biggest problem with apathy is...........................nobody cares.

I think artificial is sufficient. Must things artificial are worse than the thing it replaces. Artificial grass, sweeteners, leather, flowers, cheese, spices, diamonds, fabrics.

They only care about what you do if they can predict what you may do, or influence the choice of what you do…AND…if that leads to money being made. Other than that, no they don’t really care.

I use Microsoft Co-pilot for technical searches at work and it works well. The Bing search engine results is a hot mess as its always been though 
It won't be long when AI is completely integrated into most aspects of our life. I guess my feeling is to embrace AI and use it to your advantage however you can. Change is always happening and if you don't go with it then you get left in the dust.

I wonder what AI would spew out after digesting some of the sarcasm in the cable threads.
