IMF RSPM Mk IV

Great deal, these are well worth the money. I have had 2 pairs and each pair had the little wrinkle in the KEF woofers. They indeed came with stands and you should inquire as to whether the seller might know their whereabouts.

They will produce really low, high quality bass, a little on the lean side in the mid-bass. They are big and heavy as you know so moving them will be a chore. They are not real efficient and high power solid state (>100 watts) is what I used to drive them.

Watch out in driving them hard, though, the tweeters and super-tweeters are unobtainium. I managed to find a spare pair of KEF B139 woofers off of Ebay. If a driver appears to fail check the crossover; my second pair had a non-working midrange which turned out to be due to a bad crossover cap.

Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks for the heads-up Keith. I guess with the cross-over electrolytic caps the normal rules apply with regards to age.

Yes they do. However, I wouldn't necessarily replace crossover caps that appear to be working.

These are wonderful speakers, among the best of their day!!
